Common questions, answered.
What is Open Banking?
Open Banking is a federal scheme, the Consumer Data Right (CDR), that lets you securely share your bank data with accredited apps like ours. You stay in control: it's read-only, you authorise each connection in your bank's own app, and you can revoke access anytime. No passwords are shared, no screen-scraping involved.
Is my bank data actually safe?
Yes. We use the Consumer Data Right (CDR), the federal government's bank-grade open banking standard. It's read-only, OAuth-based, and you can revoke our access from your bank's app anytime. We never see your login.
When does Spenderoo launch?
Public launch is late-2026. Waitlist members get invited in batches starting now, and the first 100 lock in 50% off for life.
Does Spenderoo move my money around?
No, and that's deliberate. We're read-only via Open Banking, so we see your transactions but never touch your money. You stay in full control of every transfer. Spenderoo's job is to give you the picture, the heads-ups, and the insights so you can decide.
Can I track my super and investments?
Manually, yes. Automatically, not yet: Open Banking does not currently cover super or investments like crypto and shares.
What about Apple Pay receipts and tap-to-pay?
All purchases settle to your bank account, which is what we read. So yes, every tap, every Apple Pay, every contactless swipe shows up, categorised, the moment it clears.
